Thank you for planning your event through Cobleskill Auxiliary Dining Services. CAS Catering has exceptional culinary skills and extensive capabilities to satisfy a wide range of catering needs. We are passionate about food, and we are dedicated to making sure everything is perfect for your special occasion. Please read the policies and procedures to understand our process and expectations as we work together to achieve a smoothly executed and memorable catered event.
When you have a catered event in mind, please contact us as soon as possible (at least 2 weeks prior to your event). Even if you are not sure of the exact details, it’s a good idea to touch base with us so we can get the process started.

Catering will be delivered to any building on campus. An event location needs to be reserved before we plan your event. Please make sure when making your reservations that you have requested eating tables, catering tables, chairs, trash cans and any other items required for your event with the campus Event Coordinator Evelyn Davies, 518-255-5690, davieseb@cobleskill.edu.
All Catering requests must be booked in our system no later than 2 weeks prior to your event. If you have last-minute catering requests, an additional $50.00 add-on fee will be assessed if we can accommodate and staff the request. If we are unable to cater for your event, we will suggest Resident and Retail Dining options.
Final attendance numbers must be given to catering 1 week (7 days) prior to your event. If you need to increase your numbers, you may do that 3 days before the event, but no changes to attendance can be made after that. Please review your catering confirmation when it is sent to your email to verify the date, location, time, and menu selections.
Cancellations of any catered event must be made 2 days prior to your scheduled event. Please be advised that if we are notified after this deadline, you may be responsible for expenses already incurred by the Catering Department.

Events with 12 or fewer guests may be subject to an additional fee, depending on notification and menu requested. Catered events must also meet the minimum amount of $50.00 for us to deliver and set up your event. If your request is below the minimum amount, you may be requested to pick up your order from the Champlin Dining Hall.

We provide eco-friendly paper products included in your order, unless otherwise requested. We offer high quality Bamboo ware and China for events at an additional charge.
As the host of your event, you are responsible for the equipment we provide for the event's service. Any missing equipment or equipment damaged by guests will be charged to your account, at a replacement cost.
Due to health regulations, it is the policy of CAS that excess food items from events cannot be removed from the event site. Items purchased for pickup should be safely stored prior to the event and removed and disposed of by the event's host.
Meal plan swipes may not be used for catered events.
Please bring a Check or Credit Card and Tax-Exempt Form on the day of your Visit. All Refunds will be processed through the Business Office and will take 4 to 6 weeks to return.
Cancellation of your contract within two business days of your event will be subject to a $50.00 Cancellation Fee. All Groups later than 1 hour past the contracted time without prior notice will be considered Cancelled.
